TYPE: NFT MIAMI Experiential Event
Design Objectives: Create a real-world space for the NFT Miami event that brings the AKU brand to life, featuring a projection-mapped environment in the main room, an interactive subway lobby, a merch room with 3D holographic displays, and a body scanner for creating and minting digital avatars. Host panel discussions, live music performances, and a patio bar for attendees. Custom fabrication of a large-scale helmet installation, as well as exterior signage, was also included in the project.
Design Concept: The AKU World: Experiential Event is centered around the character of Aku, a digital explorer on a mission to prove that no dream is too big and no obstacle is too large. Guests are invited to explore the three virtual worlds created for the experience, including the opportunity to control the helmet installation, choose their "Inner Astronaut," and create and mint their own digital avatar through a 4D scan. The projections and lighting in the space are also linked to the musical performances, creating a fully immersive and dynamic experience.
